Day 1: Big Head Mountain Bike Trail
• Get your morning started with an easy breakfast from Zen Kitchen. Have a delicious cinnamon roll or one of their breakfast pizzas. If you’re on the go, take your meal or your coffee order with you to the trails!
• Big Head Mountain Bike Trail promises an exciting day for the entire family. This trail offers a wide range of activities for any skill level of biker. To plan your visit, be sure to check the weather for your trip. For a perfect day out on the trails, don’t forget to pack a picnic lunch or stop at one of local eateries.
• Return from a full day of fun for dinner. Check out Bodacious Bar-B-Q, they have more than just your basic BBQ on the menu, you’ll find beef, pork, sausage, and even hot wings. A local favorite is their fried pies!
Day 2: Explore Synergy and Some Live Music Fun
• Grab breakfast at The Burrito Shop. They have a wide variety of breakfast but their Kitchen Sink Omelette is a local favorite!
• Head to Synergy Park and be sure to bring your fishing gear. Once you’ve finished by the water, you can explore the trails. Pick up some BBQ to-go, because a picnic lunch is a must!
• For an evening of fun and live music in Kilgore, locals and visitors head to The Back Porch. This family-friendly spot offers regular live performances and is celebrated for its strong community spirit. Listen to acoustic music on Friday and watch a electrifying performance on Saturday!
Day 3: Meadowbrook Golf Course
• Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so let’s eat! Go through Memi D’s for a coffee, breakfast sandwich, and a snack to have at the course.
• After breakfast, continue on down the road to spend your morning discovering the beauty of Meadowbrook Golf Course. A fun yet challenging 9-hole golf course for any age and skill level! Don’t know how to golf? You can take lessons from our Golf Pro!
• When your golfing, it doesn’t have to be 5 o’clock to grab a cold one. Twozie’s Food offers a variety of dining choices that can be enjoyed on their covered patio overlooking the course.
• After spending some time outside, go to the outskirts of town for an evening filled with exploration and wine! At Britt’s Wine and Dine you can travel the word through perfectly paired wine and food experience while staying in East Texas! Housed within Kilgore ISD’s old building you can take a tour of the old school and see the history of educations past.
