• Farmersville Heritage Museum- Gussie Nell Davis was born in Farmersville, Texas, in 1906. The Farmersville Heritage Museum offers insight into the town’s rich history and notable residents, including Davis herself. Learn about her early life and the values that helped shape her dedication to dance and education.

• Gussie Nell Davis Texas Historical Marker- This historical marker commemorates Farmersville’s rich heritage and notable figures like Gussie Nell Davis, celebrating her contributions to precision dance and education.

• Farmersville IOOF Cemetery- This cemetery is the final resting place of Gussie Nell Davis, the pioneering founder of the Kilgore College Rangerettes. Visiting her gravesite offers a moment to honor her legacy and reflect on her profound impact on dance and education in Texas and beyond.​

• Gussie Nell Davis Drive- This street honors Davis’s lasting influence on Greenville and the world of precision dance. A visit here pays tribute to her pioneering spirit and community impact.

• “Spectrum” Mural & Commemorative Plaque- In Downtown Greenville, on the corner of Washington St. and Johnson St., the mural named “Spectrum” features a life-size cutout of Davis and a plaque commemorating her impact on dance. A moving tribute to where her career began.

• Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum- While highlighting military hero Audie Murphy, the museum also showcases regional history, including contributions from influential figures like Davis.

• The Rangerette Showcase and Museum- This dedicated museum tells the story of the world-famous Kilgore College Rangerettes, which Gussie Nell Davis founded in 1940. The museum features memorabilia, photographs, and costumes showcasing the iconic precision dance team. Visitors can explore exhibits that highlight Davis’s innovative vision and her contributions to women’s performance arts.

• Rangerette Practice Gym- This facility is where the Rangerettes practice their iconic routines. It serves as a training ground for excellence, discipline, and teamwork—principles that Gussie Nell Davis instilled in the team from the very beginning.

• Gussie Nell Davis Rangerette Residence- This residence hall is where current Rangerettes live, train, and bond as a team. While not open for public tours, visitors can admire the building’s significance as a symbol of the Rangerette tradition that Davis pioneered.

• R.E. St. John Memorial Stadium- This stadium is where the Rangerettes often perform at football games and other events. The large field and local fanfare echo the origins of precision drill teams on the sidelines, a tradition Davis helped elevate to an art form.
