Day 1: Kilgore Museums

• A lot of people love to start their day off with coffee, get a cup and a breakfast sandwich at the Cozy Coffee Station. Plus, Veterans get 10% off!

• Spend the day exploring all of Kilgore’s museums! The East Texas Oil Museum offers a 10% off admission and the Texas Broadcast Museum offers $2 off admission as a thank you to those who served. The Rangerette Showcase and Museum is FREE, plus if you plan ahead you can have a current Rangerette give you a tour.

• After a full day of learning about the oil boom, broadcasting, and the first drill team in Texas stop at Jalapeno Tree for some great Mexican food. Don’t think dinner didn’t come with a discount! They offer a 10% discount for Veterans!

Day 2: Shop the City of Stars

• Grab some coffee, tea, or a smoothie at Euphoria Botanicals and start your shopping day off right! While you’re downtown pop over to Geektopia and get a record or comic book that you love. Both businesses offer a 10% your purchase for veterans.

• Head to Harris Street Park to look at the memorial and military vehicles of past wars. This peaceful and reflective site is dedicated to those who served, providing a meaningful place to pay your respects. Afterwards, head to Downtown Delights for lunch. They offer a great variety of sandwiches, wraps, and baked potatoes. They also offer FREE DESSERT for Veterans.

• For an evening of all you can eat food at Mazzio’s in Kilgore, another local gem known for its flavorful pizzas and laid-back atmosphere.! This family-friendly restaurant also has an arcade for the kids and 10% off for those who served!

Day 3: Veteran Owned Business

• Start your day off with a classic, all-American breakfast at Denny’s. It’s a great spot to fuel up with a variety of breakfast favorites and you get 10% off the total bill!

• After breakfast, enjoy a relaxing afternoon stroll through the World’s Richest Acre Park, where you can explore Kilgore’s oil-rich history. If you’re interested in more shopping stop by Eagle Eye Firearms where you can get 10-20% off (depending on the purchase) and support a Veteran-Owned business.

• Wanting to be a bit fancy? Make a reservation for the Grand Empress Tea Room. They offer a variety of tea’s, sandwiches, and experiences. They offer 10% off your meal if you’re a Veteran but the great experience is free.

• For your evening, enjoy dinner at Britt’s Wine and Dine. This restaurant offers a sophisticated yet laid back dining experience with a curated wine list and delicious food, perfect for a relaxed yet elegant night out. Plus, you get 10% off your meal.
