Located on the Kilgore College campus, The Rangerette Showcase and Museum features a mechanized display of Rangerette props, a display of costumes from their spring show, Rangerette Revels, and thousands of photographs and newspaper clippings depicting the Rangerettes’ storied history. This beautiful garden is modeled after the original Shakespeare Garden in England. Built to complement the Texas Shakespeare Festival, each of the plants and shrubs grown is referenced in one of Shakespeare’s plays. Open daily, the garden is located at Brook Drive and US Highway 259 on the Kilgore College Campus. Admission is free.
Kilgore’s State Tournament Horseshoe Pit is designed for competitive and recreational horseshoe pitching. As a host site for state tournaments, it offers a welcoming atmosphere for players of all skill levels to enjoy the sport.

The Texas Shakespeare Festival is East Texas’ only professional theater company. TSF is a summer repertory company producing two Shakespeare plays, a non-Shakespearean classic, a musical, and a production for children during the summer.
Located at The Back Porch this mural showcases the Kilgore ISD Bulldog, the World Famous Rangerettes, and an Art Deco sign that aligns beautifully with the charm of Kilgore’s downtown.
