  2. Write a business plan

  3. Plan your finances and save at least six months of operating expenses
    • Be prepared to cover rent, utilities, payroll, inventory, insurance, and unexpected costs while your business grows.
  4. Choose how your business will be structured
    • Decide if you will operate as a sole proprietor, LLC, partnership, or corporation.
  5. Register your business
